Christ My Song - 1952
Saviour, send a blessing to us
(Thomas Kelly/Johannes Thomas Rüegg)
Saviour, send a blessing to us.
"Thy blessing is upon thy people." (Psalm 3,8)
1. Saviour, send a blessing to us,
send a blessing from above:
all thy truth and mercy shew us,
be thou here, in power and love,
grant thy presence, grant thy presence,
be it ours thy grace to prove. PDF - Midi
2. Art thou here! then have we blessing,
art thou not! we nothing have;
all our god in thee possessing,
for thou only, Lord, canst save;
be thou present, be thou present,
this is what thy people crave.
3. Nothing have we, Lord, without thee,
but thy promise is our stay:
and thy people must not doubt thee,
Saviour, now thy power display,
and let gladness, and let gladness
fill thy people's hearts today.
4. Gladness, Saviour, such as they have,
they, whose treasure is above;
this is what thy people may have;
truth is theirs, and faith and love.
Theirs a treasure, theirs a treasure
that the world knows nothing of.
